Taking care of the little ones in the traffic

As a part of the road safety campaign by ITD, we participated in Kids Tour & Lastbilkaravanen (the truck caravan) in Randers Saturday 14th May. Here kids were invited into the cab of our truck to see what it looks like on the inside. In addition, a red carpet was placed in the exact space of the ‘blind spot’ on the right side of the truck. This was to demonstrate to all the little road users which angle is invisible to the driver from the truck.

TV2 Østjylland also made a video about this (In Danish), where they demonstrate by filming from the cab of the truck, how weak the visibility is in the blind spot when turning right.

We are happy to support an initiative like this that put focus on road safety!
