Alongside HVO, initiatives like electric truck transport, intermodal services, and CO2-offsetting projects help move container transport toward a cleaner, more responsible future.

Measurable and documented

HVO is driving us toward a more sustainable future, one kilometre at a time, and in 2023, our switch to HVO fuel with key customers cut fossil diesel use by 23,500 litres, reducing our carbon footprint by approximately 66 tonnes of CO2.

  • Engine Compatibility: HVO works seamlessly with existing diesel engines – no modifications needed.
  • Enhanced Performance: Improved lubricity boosts engine efficiency and extends lifespan of engines.
  • Blending Flexibility: Easily mix HVO with traditional diesel for flexible and gradual adoption. 
If you choose to take advantage of one of our emission reduction options, we can of course offer reports that document your reduction compared to if the transport had been carried out with regular diesel B7. In addition, you will receive an annual audited certificate of your reduction.

START OFFSETTING CONTAINER TRANSPORTATION

Contribute to offsetting the carbon footprint of your
transport container by joining our Ugandan AncoForest project.

If you opt for this service, we will apply a green surcharge equivalent to the cost required to offset the CO2 emissions for each kilometre of your transport. This surcharge is then utilized to plant trees in the Ugandan AncoForest project, with each tree capable of absorbing up to 3 tonnes of CO2 in just 20 years – that’s 43% of our 2022 total carbon emissions. Making it a simple and cost-effective way to reduce your environmental impact.
