Our industry relies heavily on fossil fuels. However, technological advancements offer hope for significant reductions in the future. While we’re not yet able to fully transition to renewable, low-emission energy we are on our way with cost-effective and eco-friendly solutions.

Our goals
Short term (ongoing) goals: Continuously implement new initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint from our operation scope 1 and 3 towards our medium- and long-term goals.
Medium term (5 years) goals: 25 % reduction in carbon footprint per driven kilometer.
Long term (2050) goals: Become 100% CO2e neutral.
The plan
- Use of renewable fuels (mainly HVO and BioLNG).
- Increase our fleet of electrical vehicles, sideloaders, and gensets.
- Accelerate the utilization of rail and intermodal solutions.
- Training in fuel saving driving behaviour and monitoring via Fleet-system.
- Optimize routing and loads dispatching e.g. increase number of reloads.
- Purchase sustainable and energy-saving equipment and material.
Social
Acknowledging our social responsibility
We believe everyone deserves a positive work experience, with full respect for both physical and mental rights. This commitment fosters engaged and dedicated employees. As members of both trade organizations and employer organizations, we uphold labour agreements on wages, working hours, and more in all the countries in which we are represented.
Our goals (2026 – 2030)
- Reach minimum 50 in eNPS (measured work satisfaction).
- Maintain minimum 10 % female drivers (achieved in 2025)
- Support initiatives that strengthen healthy lifestyles and mental well-being.
- Ensure ongoing education and training for everyone.
- Foster open communication with monthly updates and regular 1-on-1s.
- Appoint green ambassadors in each country to lead social and wellbeing activities.

- Flat structure with open communication at all levels.
- 35% of leadership roles held by women.
- 90% of strategic suppliers comply with our code of conduct.
- Increase due diligence on employee conditions in the value chain.
- Written agreements with 90% of suppliers (100% ideal but not feasible due to supplier dynamics).
- 100% of payments made on time as agreed.
The plan
- When on-boarding new employees, an introduction to our COC and values is mandatory.
- All employees will yearly become a mandatory re-cap about COC and values through ANCOTRANS Learning Universe.
- Top management are visible and pro-active in their communication to all levels.
- Targeted efforts to recruit more female managers
- Suitable agreements and COC compliance with suppliers.
- Yearly audit of top 5 suppliers and minimum 5 random (complying with COC and terms in agreements).
