New Leadership, Same Direction: ANCOTRANS Welcomes New CEO

With a legacy built on 143 years of transport, ANCOTRANS now begins a new chapter. Effective June 1st, 2025, Peter Groth steps into the role of CEO, taking over from Anne Kathrine Steenbjerge, 5th generation owner and now Chairwoman of the Board. The green and yellow values stay strong—and the direction forward is clear.

A CEO Transition Built on Trust and Continuity

After more than a decade as CEO, Anne Kathrine Steenbjerge is stepping aside from daily operations to focus on her role as majority shareholder and Chairwoman of the Board. Her successor, Peter Groth, brings 26 years of logistics experience—17 of them from DSV—and a strong belief in people, customer focus, and long-term value creation.

To ensure full continuity for both customers and colleagues, Peter and Anne Kathrine will be working side by side over the next three months in a close “twinning setup” — allowing for a smooth onboarding and direct dialogue.
